Tulip.

Post by Froy »

Does anybody have any idea about the author of this tulip:

https://es.pinterest.com/pin/566609196844467438/

The pin redirects me to a dead site.

I have been trying to reverse engineer it based in the model by Shigeru Yamasaki, but it does not work in the same way.

I started from a hexagon, but my guess is that the flower is made from 2 sheets (triagnles)

Thanks in advance.

I found the shop that sells them, but still no info about the author.

Anyway, I was doodling last night with some triangles and finally got it. At the end they look the same and based in what I got it seems to be composed of 2 equal pieces.

Hi, sorry for bringing up an old topic.

Froy, could you tell me how to make that tulip please? I need it :( I'm from Venezuela and I've been looking for a beautiful tulip like Shigeru's or that one. But from here I can't get that book. I need it to fold a lot of them for an important date, please help me.
