does anyone know where i can get a diagram of david derudas' flexible gecko?

I don't think there are diagrams. I looked for them too. i wish i could fold it.

I can't be sure because I don't have the book with me, but I think it is in The New Origami by Steve and Megumi Biddle. The model is multipiece and each piece swivels with the next one.

as far as I know there are no instructions for it and it is not for sale. The gecko is made from a combination of knotology and origami. So he takes strips of paper and folds and weaves them together, this is what makes it 'flexible' because it is not all one piece of paper. It probably wouldn't be oober difficult to figure out a pattern for it if you know how to weave, but it would be time consuming. Have you checked out his palm weavings? They're really cool.

That makes a lot more sense than it being from one piece of paper-although with pleated segments it should be possible to make it flexible from one piece.

I finally got a digital camera... it's not that good as you see the pictures. oh well ... soooo..... yeah! that site has the picture of the top of the leg. can anyone else do better?
if so can I see how it's done?
anyway I need someone to do the head or something.

There it shows it in progress, looks like you've got the foot right. Any idea when he's supposed to be done diagramming this???
