I've tried web searches with no results. the only two things i found were on this forum: monochrome ninja and ninja shadow. ive tried both cps, but was unsuccessful. are there any diagrams for a "good" ninja anywhere? i have black paper and zip to do this summer...

Well, there is Robin Glynn's Black Belt. Not sure if this is what you want though. I guess you could modify a generic human to be a ninja. Models that are useful for this matter are for example Nicolas Terry's winged warrior where the wings can be folded into the arms to make the warrior hold things (there should be examples for this somewhere on the Forum) or Satoshi Kamiya's wizard, where an elias stretch to achieve legs should also be no problem.

eh, black belt wasn't quite as detailed as i really would like if possible. though i found a sort of generic human base that i could use.

On the site where I found that, someone had grafted a sword onto it, so instead of having that pattern in the corner to make one long sword, I could center it on the bottom, and it'd have 2 katana's and the possibility for toed feet. Also, I could make it x-rated by stretching a few layers down!! ah, the ways box pleating can be hysterical.

Whew...uh..
Lets say, if you have good enough paper, and a generic box pleated base, any human shape is possible.

yeah, like i said earlier, i took the human base, and grafted 2 katanas onto it. the belt and headband are being tricky, however. that saddens me. greatly.

I actually have a folded model. It's from a bird/frog base hybrid with some thinning.

are the weapons and the belt from separate sheets of paper, or were parts of them painted?

Darn! It would've been really cool if they were part of it. Though maybe with some grafting...
