please can someone post a picture of the ancient eagle! i can't find any! i want to see if it is worth finding diagrams for!

Ancient eagle? I didn't even know an ancient eagle model existed......do you mean ancient dragon or something else?

Roman Diaz's "roc" or satoshi kamiya's "ancient dragon" or Ngyuen hung 's"eagle"

he may mean all three.

I couldn't find any pictures of ancient eagle so tell me if this is what you meant

No, it is actually called "The Ancient Eagle" but I don't know If it is a model that money has to be involved before you know what it looks like. Likeaboss' first picture may be it as it is closest to what my freind described when he told me about a " goldish eagle which sort of looks weirdly fluffy and is occasionally called something else with the word "mythological" involved". Thanks!

A goldish eagle? I'm sure if you folded it with white paper it would still be gold.

heh heh heh. No, the most common picture when doing an image search was goldish according to my freind who's name I will not mention for security reasons apart from under the title of "n" (yay, Algebra! ) n says that there are two models under that name, one by Robert Lang whick is sometimes also called "Roc". N also says that the model is really cool and if anyone herew finds a diagram or a crease pattern for it, he would very much like to see it to.

there is several models called "roc" and yes, they are 'ancient eagles' in a sense.

I'll look for some way of making them.

Haha, I like your signature. I think there is a crease pattern on Langs site somewhere, and theres a diagram in one of the Tanteidans. I think 17.

Robert J. Lang does have a cp on his website but he has diagrams. I'll post a link here for the book review. It is a very good book and I really like the vixen featured on the cover. I warn you that if you've just started not to attempt this because it is the hardest in the book and usually takes about 5 hours to fold properly.
