I used to be a Software Engineer, but after my lay-off earlier this year, I felt I should finally try to pursue my passion for art as a career. I'm still working part-time on software contracts, but my main focus is art. I do both graphite drawings and work in origami.
I didn't start doing origami seriously until around December 2012, but I'm especially drawn to tessellations. I have several designs and am experimenting with making usable everyday objects, like lamps, with paper tessellation decorations. Trying to do representational design as well, but nothing interesting yet.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all and becoming engaged in the origami community!
