Origami for Everyone

Ok, so I finally made my way unto this forum ^_^

Might look bad if the first thing I do is advertising for my homepage put I think that's the easiest way to make my introduction ;-)

So my homepage can be found at

http://www.scarygami.net/

It's mainly aimed at beginners, offering information about Origami basics like the different folds and bases and some traditional models like the crane.
There are also some of my own Origami designs on there and I'm still trying to create all the missing diagrams for them... they will come... some day... really... big promise...

My homepage has gone through a ton of design changes but I think I'm getting close to a version which I can be satisfied with (probably that will change again in a few days, hehe)

So long and keep folding :-)
Gerwin

Well then, I'm currently in progress of revising all of my homepage (again...). So far I have changed the basic layout from tables to a fully css-based design, and have updated my gallery and also written a rather extensive article about Origami diagrams.

My main goal (which has been my goal since I began my homepage years ago) is to complete and update the Basics section in order to give all those Origami beginners the best help possible.

And then there are still some missing diagrams I need to draw...

It's amazing how long this topic was not replied to, after Anna.
Nice additions to your gallery, Daydreamer :D

I've finally got an easier remember domain name for my homepage:

http://www.scarygami.net
(Scary is a nickname I've had a since a very long time and the rest of the name should be pretty self-explanatory)

If you have links to my homepage it would be nice if you could update them. There's no hurry though, because the old address won't die any time soon and still points to exactly the same homepage.

With all the Origami blogs around already, I've decided to give it a try myself.
You can find the result here: http://scarygami.blogspot.com/

For now I've posted CPs with explanations for my three One Piece models.
More will be coming whenever I design something worth sharing :-)

Wow, great job. But why are they folded from scrap paper? (and did you fold them?)

The location of the picture is in a university and she's supposed to be a student. The idea was to use paper that can be found lying around at a university.

I folded the models, but they actually were only 6 models (and some more they didn't end up using) photographed and copied in various ways.
