Hi. I am scifimom and I am Greek. Yes the real one. I live in the sub capital of Greece Thessaloniki and I am folding for a little more than four years. I am 37 Years old and I have a dh and two little girls.
Almost all Greeks can fold a paper boat and a paper plane and that is how I started also. But four years ago I bought Mastering the art of Origami and started folding. I began with... the crane, I know I am sooooo original. As Origami is practically unknown in Greece all my books, diagrams and information come either from the internet or they are written in English. Since my mother language is Greek sometimes I am struggling over the diagrams. Last year there was the first attempt to make origami known in Greece by a girls who has a kids show on tv and is also doing demonstrations and seminars about origami, before that I thought I was alone.
Well nice to find you and happy folding everyone.
