Origami Malaysia
Hey,
Anyone from Malaysia? Welcome on board and share your experiences on here. I know in Malaysia not so popular in Origami activities. Hopefully I can find some Origami Malaysian and we shall do something on it.

Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad.

I am a Malaysian living in Singapore. My interest in origami started in Malaysia when I was in Primary School. Someone started folding the crane, boat and of course paper planes and soon the whole class was showing what they can fold. I learnt from my classmates and from my neighbours. Later in the local library I came across a Robert Harbin book "Secrets of Origami". Again later I bought Origami 1, then 2, then 3 and finally 4 in Malaysia too. In fact, I have an origami book in Malay.
Amongst the earliest BOS member is from Penang and there is another from KL. In the past, I have met them and when they come down to Singapore, I will meet them. It's been a long, long time since I last met both of them. Wonder how they are doing?

are you HS lee?i saw your origami page the other day and thought you are singaporean =)
nice to meet u.
Is there any origami convention organized before in malaysia?
As far as I know, I have not come across any origami convention in Malaysia. The number of origami enthusiasts in Malaysia appears to be smaller than that of Singapore. So far I have come across TP Kong's origami website. TP Kong is from Malaysia too and he has come down to Singapore before.
