Greetings & Posts Not Showing Up?

Greetings -- I'm a brand new folder, mostly interested in tessellations for the time being.

Also, I'm having a problem whereby I post a message, submit it, everything goes OK but then the post does not appear, nor does it show up when clicking "view your posts." Am I doing something wrong?

the first couple of postings need to be approved by a mod. thats why they didn't show up.

Yeah, I noticed that ...but only after this (my third) posting. D'oh!
