Youtube channel promoting other authors

Hello everyone,

recently I've set up a Youtube channel about origami instructions (http://www.youtube.com/cubesan1202) in which I show creations of different authors. I know I have a long way ahead of me and there's a lot to learn. That's why I would appreciate any feedback on my clips and the channel in general.

I hope that with the help of this great community I can improve something which has become my hobby.

Thanks!

Ok, here are some ideas :).

Regarding the channel, I've seen that some people make welcome videos for their channels. Maybe you could do that.

I also checked out completely your instructional video for Valerie Vann's Magic Rose and watched a bit of your other four videos. I have this few coments:

Considering they're videos I feel they need auditive material as well, not just visual material. That could be verbal explanations or simply music. The thing is with all that silence, I feel it's missing something as I watch the video.

I like how you implied we had to pay attention to certain references by simply pointing with your finger to the right places before folding. Also I liked the fact that you folded each step slowly so we didn't miss a step as we watched the video.

Regarding the one I watched completely, I thought it was very clear and it was all I needed to learn in order to fold the model. If you ever teach a more complex model, you might need to add further explanations, maybe verbal, through captions or diagraming symbols. But again, I didn't think that was the case with the instructional video for the Magic Rose :).

That's it. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your feedback. I'll take into consideration everything you've mentioned.

My other videos have music intros/ outros (except for the Magic Rose video). With the next one I'll try some music.

Regards :)

I watched some of your more recent videos and they're pretty good.

I'd make a welcome video like Gerardo suggested and I like how you have sort of a unique template for the preview images for each video!
