Above is a site which explains how to divide a square into any fraction

Download ReferenceFinder on http://langorigami.com, you should be able to find any reference point to start a model in various ways .
Another way to divide a square into fifths as well as thirds and sevenths can be found here:

Re: Precreasing into fifths?

thanks - that helps; if it isn't perfect, I guess it's down to the old ruler and calculator

Re: Precreasing into fifths?
Hello,
Given that I once created a box starting with Fifths, I very often hear the complain, that folding Fifths gives some people headaches. Therefore I thought, I'd draw a diagram explaining the method I usually use. Please note that I didn't come up with the method myself but learned it somewhere along the way. Not sure who taught it to me initially but it gives accurate Fifths every time and it even works on rectangles other than squares.
Here is the Link to the Diagram: http://www.origamiaustria.at/en/articles.php#a24
And here is the Link to my Spiral Box in case you want to use your trial sheet to fold something: http://www.origamiaustria.at/en/diagrams.php#d30
