The cricket is separate. Don't ask me how I know that, but I do. Also the tires just basically overlap. I like to put them slightly inside the model so that they don't move out of position too much, and foil is highly recommended.

I recently did the pokemon lugia as a crease pattern but i don't think i'm ready for WALL-E yet. You ask me why i have anything to do with this thread?

I want to do a really hard crease pattern at some point (notice i posted this weeks later) so WALL-E may become a first option. I may try my first tessalation first though.
