good point. but the color change would be a bit odd with foil, don't you think? (unless he put another color on the back)

I will try the blue whale, I've been procrastinating for a while this model.

I think I'll have some trouble in the pleats of the belly, but it's ok.

And thank you phillipcurl and Baltorigamist for suggesting models!

I've never folded this model, but I want to. Paper recommendations? Would it work with kami? Because that's the only large blue sheet I have. :?

Kozo, Blue, around 80gsm.
Huge Sheet (1 meter)
Looking for something super complex.
Thanks in advance.

With a large sheet of kami (about 50 ~ 60cm) you can try Western Dragon v3 of Shuki Kato. :)

that wouldn't work. That model gets really thick with tracing paper (thin) especially on the head, and it requires extensive shaping... kami is about 2x the thickness of tracing paper. you would inevitably get rips and tears everywhere, and the color of the kami would deteriorate quickly on folds..I would definitely reccomend terry tissue or tracing paper for this, or sekishu (or any japanese or thai paper + mc of course) and using wet-dry folding to shape it.

Maybe you could fold Satoshi's Bahamut. Or perhaps one of the CPs for other versions (BL, Zero, etc.) Le Tuan's Werewolf from 50hrs+ might also work--may be a bit thick though.

Yeah, I've just never had the paper to solve the CP. It looks pretty easy though. But I collapsed the BL base in about 5-6 hours from copy paper. XD

The CP for Bahamut BL is actually very easy except for the shoulders. You just need to be patient with the head and tail, and it will all fall into place. I believe the shoulders' refs are at 32nds. I have absolutely no clue how to go about the shaping though.

First model I can think of that looks great in black and red--Llopio's moment of truth! Except you need a rectangle for that. (first picture on link)

It can be found in Neal Elias 1964-1973.
A tiny place to post my things. Enjoy~
