Hi guys. I'm new here but also, completely new to origami. In the summer I went to Tokyo for two weeks and I fell in love with the country right away. I'm here because I'm looking for a cool hobby that can help me understand the Japanese culture better. Origami seems like the right thing:) So please, let me soak up some of your infinite knowledge :) glad to be here :)

If you ever need help with a model, just ask and I'd be glad to help.
One site that helped me a lot when I was new to origami is Sara Adams's site, which is here: http://www.happyfolding.com/
I highly recommend the site for any new folders, for the owner has several video tutorials for just about every kind of model.

Great stuff. theyve got an amazing video database, thats for sure :)

I can already see that origami will be an awesome challenge. And it's also yet another chance to take in some of Japan's culture. Funnily enough though, my fascination with origami started in Hong Kong. I was backpacking through Asia 3 years ago.
