i think the 2 piece star is better to make its alot easyer as well and i think it would fly better as 2 sheets of paper are heavyer than 1...i will accept your challenge..it might take a while tho

Hi everybody. I know this is an old discussion, but recently I found another shuriken, that one that looks more like a knife than like a throwing star.

It's known as a kunai. The Database lists one on the Origami Austria site.

I made a six pointed object, not exactly the sixpointed star. dunno if u call it a suriken thing though. I threw it but its a bit light

for everyone who read Alexandre's post, i want to say that instead of cutting it in half and folding it into forths, cut it into forths and get two ninja stars instead of one. there thinner, fly better, and you get more.
