Paper to hanger

Post by dubalicious »

Hi,

I am a t-shirt designer and I would like to send my products to customers in packaging that can be reused. How easy would it be to fold an A3 size paper into a usable hanger?
Thank you for your attention.
Can anyone help?

I thought that was an original idea, so I googled about it and found this: http://sfgreenlabs.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Is that pretty much what you're looking for?

I decided to give it a try.

I'm happy with the results but it won't help you with what you wanted to accomplish. For one thing, I needed a square cut from an A2 sheet, so that's more paper than what you were asking for; I had to use card stock for supporting the weight of the shirt or t-shirt, but it can't hold a jacket or something as heavy. Besides that, It's also too complicated for a beginner to fold; the complexity level of this model is "mid intermediate" so probably only a few of your customers would be able to fold it correctly :(.

Anyway, thanks for the idea; I'm happy with my new model. Sorry I couldn't get to create one perfect for your project.
