Taneidan Convention Book #3 for sale

Post by pharmjod »

Hello. I am wanting to sell my copy of the Origami Tanteidan Convention
#3 from 1997
. I am asking $240 for it.

Also, I have a copy of the BOS Convention book from 1996 (Nottingham, March 30/31). This convention
book has two fairly rare diagrams from Fumiaki Kawahata: Grifon and
Lobster. I cannot find the Grifon listed in any other publication and
the Lobster I can only find in the Tanteidan Convention Book #3. I am
asking $45 for the BOS convention book.

Both books are in very good condition and have been hardly used.
I will entertain offers as well so don't be shy. If no one shows interest, I will likely
list on eBay. I have perfect feedback on eBay as a seller / buyer (pharmjod2005) so you can
be confident I am an honest seller. PM me with offers or questions.
Photos can be provided upon request. I accept (prefer) PayPal and money orders.

I would buy either one if I could afford them right now. Do you have pics to show the condition?
After the fall, we rise.

b/c tanteidan books are invariably collector items. that said, if you are patient enough and enough ppl buy ebooks from gallery origami house, there is the possibility they would be released in that format.

pharmjod, is it possible for you to post a pic of the last step of the griffon, so we could know what the design looks like? kawahata's non-dinosaurs are hit and miss.

I have already sold the Tanteidan book, but here is the image of the first page of the diagrams for the Grifon. It has a photo of the model (not the clearest, but it may help) and the last step:

And yes, the older Tanteidan books are extremely hard to find. I've been trying unsuccessfully for a while to find someone to part with the Icarus Diagrams and original Violinist Diagrams that were special edition. Also, still looking for Convention 1 & 2. Oddly enough, there aren't really even that many great models in them, I'd just like to have them. Oh, and good luck finding 1-50ish of the Tanteidan Magazine.
