Re: Gachepapier
Thanks everyone - deadbard, I'm giggling myself silly over this WWI hero impersonator, I'm glad my model works for you too

Re: Gachepapier
Could you consider the idea of diagramming/CPing/photodiagramming/videotutoraling it? I'd love to fold it myself but I don't even have an idea on how to conceive something like that, guess I'll really need to buy Secret of Origami Design ASAP.

Re: Gachepapier
To be honest, I've been trying, but it's an improvised model and it's full 3D, meaning it's really a horrible task to diagram this. I don't even have a CP + there were a couple of 'hacks' (such as an extra crimp to shorten a body which ended up too long). It's an improvisation I am happy with, but it is not a clean design. Forcing myself to turn it into one is quite a chore too, you'll notice I don't usually fold my models twice, here I'd have to fold it another two or three times to make a diagrammable version, a terrible thought

Ahah, I see, well, thanks anyway for giving it a try!
I guess I'll add it to my to-reinvent list for when I get more experience.

Re: Gachepapier
Thanks Chris, but we don't have winners on that forum, except in duels (and even for those, ties are frequent)

Re: Gachepapier
Thanks
I'm far from a pro though XD I understand your goal, but you should change the message a bit, otherwise people will think you are spamming. Ask for certain tips and stuff.
