@Baltorigamist Hm, I thought of that but I'm looking for something a bit more complex since it's a bigger paper. Thanks for suggesting though. :)
@Jacoboqc How bout a jester? Those are nice in yellow and purple. I especially like Gilgado's version, if you want a intermediate-complexish model.

@Baltorigamist That is true, but I don't think 13 or so inches is going to be big enough...unless I find some tweezers. ;)

The grid is what, 52? (Sorry, going from memory.) That's 1/4 inch pleats, not that small.

@Baltorigamist Are there diagrams for the housemaid? If not, I think I'll be trying that on a bigger piece of paper another day...I think it's a bit out of my league if it's a cp. ;)

It actually seems to be pretty notorious for its difficulty, and there are no diagrams. As far as whether I'll ever fold it myself, it's difficult to say. I've been working on my own designs so much lately that I almost never fold anything by someone else.

Chessboard? I haven't got black.
My books:
Something by David Petty
the complete book of origami (robert lang)
The works of satoshi kamiya

Also, a friend promised to give me copys of all his books that he has more than one of, or has on pdf (he bought the originals first)
Also again, online free diagrams are welcome, but after ryujin 1.2, i am slightly bored of cps.

I am after something that looks mathematical. That chessboard fits the bill, but unless there are diagrams, i'm not (very) interested.

IF you don't mind downloading books from the internet, then I would get "Works of Kamiya" or "insects and their kin"
