Hey origamigeek you like to keep me busy, but that's ok
. I'm really liking this topic so I don't mind doing the checkup.
Ok here I go:
Too bad. I found this one some ago. One of the reasons for starting this topic. It's such a weird rare animal that I was surprised that it was done, pretty good aswell, here's a pic:http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4025/5150 ... 7fb6_z.jpg
That's funny, I searched for this one like 2 days ago, thinking ' this one for sure has not been done'...but:http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6072/6083 ... 22f0_m.jpg
I'm giving this link aswell, it has been my wallpaper for a couple off months:http://photography.nationalgeographic.c ... 579-sw.jpg
Couldn't find one at first glance, kinda scary fish!
There was a dollar bill one But that doesn't count. (not to me at least)
Shovel Nosed Lobster
That's a cool one, I hadn't seen been before. A good challange for the insectfolders outthere. or and antrepode if that's the right name? not sure.
I also checked out the top 10 you mentioned.

Second and third are to the origami model. The second one is really great. Actually found this one myself recently and have been looking for the diagrams, this David Lanque has got some really nice animal models btw
Sao Tome Shrewhttp://www.travelblog.org/Photos/3087252
I saw this one in the zoo a couple of months ago. And when I got home I searched for some information. It is actually related more to elephants (DNA ) than mouses.
Of the elephant shrew is a model, looks complex:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_K2sHwTonnGY/S ... %B1a+1.JPG
I'm not gonna search for this one there are a bunch of wolves, although maybe not red.
Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat
the wombat in general has not been done, not the five step model that could be anything that popped up on google. I'm surprised I think that should be an animal that deserves a model.Cuteness is off the radar
Seychelles Sheath-Tailed Bat
This specific type of bat has not been done but there are alot of bat-models out there.
If I'm correct this also the white rhino.http://www.giladorigami.com/P_Rhinoceros_Trollip.JPG
Trollip has some great animal designs, He has done some amazing gazelle and bocks type animals
Golden Tabby Tiger
Also I just recently discovered this animal, on my search for origami models I've been delving into different animals aswell. I must say this has to be one of the most magnificent looking animals I've ever seen. Again this specific tiger has not been done. But I'll give you link to some of the best looking models of tiger i've seen so far.http://www.progonos.com/furuti/Origami/ ... 4878_A.JPG
Using a colorchange to create stripeshttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2001/234 ... a58944.jpg
Great proportions and 'feel'http://www.giladorigami.com/P_Tiger_NIshikawa.JPG
This face is great, tried to fold it once but failed, wrong paper, I'll have to remember to try this one again.
Still 2 more to go:
Yangtze River Dolphin
This variation of dolphin has not been done. There are some dolphin models:http://www.origamiclub.info/wp-content/ ... rigami.jpghttp://www.giladorigami.com/P_Dolphin_Muro.JPGhttp://www.giladorigami.com/P_Dolphin_Ku.JPG
Finally the last one (been searching for a hour by now)
Pina Island Tortoise
No model yet but the tortoise has been done. Btw. can anyone tell me what's the differents between a turtle and a tortoise?
The one by joisel is really nice!
Ok that's it for now, please feel free to add to the growing list!!
