Re: Satoshi Kamiya- Samurai Helmet Beetle
I'm having trouble with steps 80-83. Is the model supposed to lie flat at this point? I can't manage it, if so. The diagrams in Super Complex Origami have helped, but not fully solved my issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can anyone help me with the closed sink in step 62. Do you open the model and continue the mountain folds to there origin, or is it just up to the edge of the flap?

You are going to spread the layers at the top of the model and then collapse on some simple box pleating creases. This creates an indention in the top of model and two new flaps. Let me know if this helps.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya- Samurai Helmet Beetle
hello, I'm following diagrams from World Of Super-Complex Origami. I can't understand passages 64-65, I may have made too many mistakes and added creases
EDIT:
thanks phillipcurl I made the main creases again and I could follow the reverse fold you suggested

Re: Satoshi Kamiya- Samurai Helmet Beetle
its hard to explain. essentially you are reversing the creases it is showing. just use the creases they show, and try and make it look like step 66. if that doesnt help, i'll make a video later when i refold this.
if you have a lot of messy creases going everywhere, you should refold it, though.
