Thanks ! It may be a bit difficult to "read" this model as it is a bit unusual, I'll readily admit - I hope it is more a strength than a weakness

In principle most of the colour-change is still feasable, though I've added a few strands on the front which would be of the same colour as the skin if the faces of the sheet were different...

Haha! The Conquistador looks like a statue found on Seaseme Street...I mean that as a sincerest complement. Usually my first attempts of Origami models look like a variation of Jeremy Shafer's "Neolithic Rock". Your grasshopper looks simple but complex. I agree with Trouble, what a fantastic pose, I think it looks so realistic a fly would run away from it...lol. Weird to say, but it's antannae are cute. The segments are porportional to the "meat" found on a real praying mantis at first glance. A non-origamist would love your work...hey if they love mine, yours would blow them away! Your squirrel is beautiful as well. Your metamorphed racoon takes me away. A great example of a true folder using their brain to go beyond the ordinary folder.

actually it was called the monolithic rubblestone boulder. gachepapier@ do you think you could fold a quetzalcoatl?
