Drat. I forgot articuno! I am such a fail!
We've got loads for this challenge already- let's just drop articuno entirely, not replace it, we still have 4, which is one more than normal.

Here's my Moltres:

I was thinking of adding toes(is that what its called for birds?) and more fire on the wings by grafting but this came out better than expected so I left it as is. (I'll add that in some other time)

hmm... next up is Zapdos! but this seems pretty difficult esp. if I want the color change... :?

Just seeing that Moltres makes me want to quit
Folder from Hønefoss, Norway. Pretty advanced, but I'm not that good at designing :P

Don't think that! Ok, it is very good but
A: it's the taking part that counts
B: nothing's wrong with 2nd or 3rd (or any place for that matter)
C: you don't have to enter moltres- you could enter something else- if someone else also enters that, let's say mew, there will be a winner out of all the mews!

Lets hope this sounded encouraging. I hope it did. Despite all that you may think, i'm trying to sound encouraging and not put-downy to anyone and not favouritist to anyone either.

Brilliant! That is better than the mew i have folded! If you are wondering why august has been empty, it is because i have decided to have a rest over the summer holidays.the judging will take place at the end of august instead. If you think making this the 'bi-monthly pokemon challenges' makes it more successful, i shall start a poll for it at the end of this month. Anyway,
Brilliant entry jakeplusplus! I love it's pose! Could you please make a crease pattern? You don't have to, just i love mew as well!!

Harpseal wrote:Here is a monthly challenge thread for creating origami pokemon. Every month there will be a new pokemon to create. This isn't particularly competitive but a winner (as such as it isn't particularly competitive) may be asked to create a crease pattern to share if they want to. One entry per month ect. Ect.ect. Feburary 2012 will be volcarona (I think that's it anyway) special request from dragon. Please enter.
I wanted to congratalute you Harpeseal :).

You've created an excellent challenge and it's lasted over half a year.

It's not easy to propose a challenge that people will enjoy and it's certainly not easy to manage them either :D.

Thank you :D
Knowing that people think like that about these challenges really wants to make me try and keep them going :)
EDIT: is it really over half a year? Wow! (Obviously if you're happy that it's been going so long, you'll have to thank the people who judged and entered!)
