Can you post a picture?Daydreamer wrote:You have to open sink (as open as possible that is) the tip, and then do something similar to two Elias stretches. If I folded the base right, there is one point that needs to be split into two points, one for each eye. How did you do that?

I've opened a topic for the crab because the questions are getting a bit off-topic for this thread. I posted pictures on how to make the eyes there:

Dimetrodon
I folded dimetrodon of Fumiaki Kawahata today. I do not post its photo, cos it is first attempt so it looks really bad. Its sail on the back is very nice, head is relatively OK but body goes awry so that hint legs are in the air. This model has 90 steps and it is quite simple. Problem is only with forming spiral, one must be patient, and then flatting the model. I need practice this operation, cos it is crucial for other developments of whole model, and then I will send some picture. Do someone experience with this operation?

my interpretation of an "origami rose":

and:

i´m folding with nearly every wrapping paper i get hold of. it is (or better: was) an interesting challenge to produce a square of paper, so that the finished fluffy shows nice pictures on the belly, as well as on the back. in the meantime i know how to cut the square, also depending on the size of the rose (for example).
