Re: Eamon McCandless
Your folds are really good! My favourite is the blue little bird you posted a while back. And I'm glad I inspire you to fold a lobster, Your fold looks great

The only limit in origami is your imagination and your patience

Re: Eamon McCandless
Thank you for the nice comments everyone!
@Allejandro-this was the bast balance I could find between the sizes of the body parts, but I certainly look into it sometime
also, thank you for the advice. Maybe Lang's tree frog?
@Kyle-thanks for the advice too. Do you think I could do it from 40 cm?
@Langko-Thank you so much! That bird is my favorite fold too!

Re: Eamon McCandless
Yes, Lang's tree frog sounds perfect for that color.
Re: Eamon McCandless
After I make Satoshi's hermit crab, I'll definitely do it!
shiny side out or dull side?

Re: Eamon McCandless
His hermit crab? I'm actually going to attempt that one soon as well. As for the frog, I'd say shiny side out but that's up to you. Good Luck folding!

Re: Eamon McCandless
Well, just make sure you use thin paper. Double tissue in a maybe 40 or50 cm square should work great! Heres one dfrom 24 cm of single mc'd tissue.

Its a little hard to get a good picture of it.Here's a mini clydesdale by Quentin Trollip, too.

Tree Frog-done.

I was tired after a sleepless night followed by school, so I completely forgot to fold the shiny side out

Here's Satoshi Kamiya's T-Rex. The "T" stands for tiny

Re: Eamon McCandless
Don't worry about it being dull side out, it was only a suggestion. The frog looks great though! As does the T-Rex! How'd the sink treat you this time?
Re: Eamon McCandless
Thanks! As for the sink, I really had no idea what I was doing
. I just played with the model until the layers looked like they were arranged correctly. Folding from an 11 cm sheet did not make it any easier.

Grey Wolf-Quentin Trollip. Quentin's models are not ideal for folding miniatures.

Re: Eamon McCandless
I folded Robert Lang's dancing crane as a Mother's Day gift. It was hard to get a good picture, because it is so big! With my tendancy to leave random crap lying around the house, I wouldn't be surprised if my Mom has already seen this
.
