Wrap around. Snake and leaf by roodborst078, on Flickr
Snake and leaf by Sebl folded by me.

Using the same technique as Hoang Trung's eagle I designed another body and legs for this Hawk. That was harder then I thought it would be, but I'm happy with the result.

Roodborst that hawk shows of exactly how you won the ODT! Amazing! I love the face and the wings!

Re: What have you folded lately?
Thank you chesscuber. It was really hard to modify the model. The legs kept coming from the wings. But somehow in the end it came together. I ruined alot of paper to get to this final model. Gave it away yesterday.

Re: What have you folded lately?
I have started down the Ryu Zin path, and attempted RyuZin 1.0, designed by Satoshi Kamiya (well, in truth, all I could find was a blurry crease pattern, so gave that a try)
The result is fairly dragony:

Nice fold Wonko!
There is no need to fold from a blurry CP. The CP has been redrawn here:

In fact there are even photo-diagrams for it:

Re: What have you folded lately?
grrr, I looked and looked, in the end just made up most of the shaping - never mind, happy with the result (and it seems I did it mostly correct without the assistance)
If I go down the road of Ryuzin 2.x, is there similar support somewhere? I cannot find it.
I would love to purchase diagrams, CP or similar.
Do not think I have the stamina for a 3.5 however (nor access to suitably large paper)

Goldfish

After a close study of two different kind of origami fishes, one from Eric Joisel and one
of Ares Alanya, I came up with a hybrid of the two bases, and here is the result.
Folded from a square of 50 cm of handmade paper treated with mc and painted with acrylics
before folding. Final model measures 30 cm from head to tail and 16 cm height!!!
