Undiagramable models?

I'm a big fan of measure and mark. My Jack o Lantern uses 40ths, so I measure in 1/5, then divide one side into 32 and one side into 8.
I've got designs using 42x42, 46x46, 50x50, etc. but they are all measured and marked. It's more accurate and saves time, but when I diagram them I'll just include both options.
