I'll choose Sky and Aug 15 is just fine.

Do I post when finished or on the 15th? And what happens next?

You can post whenever you feel like it.
And then you just wait for me to post my model, and on the deadline I'll start a poll.

My entry:
Big Dipper
Made from an uncut square of tissue foil, this uses a color change technique I developed for past models, where I have to shape the edges of the paper, then when they fold inward together they outline the shape I want. The challenge was making the outline of the empty part, which was solved by putting one white line on the highest layer while all the rest of the outline is on the lowest. The design method can apply to other constellations, which I may explore later.

You made the deadline...
So, are you still working on it?

I thought I would have time, but a bunch of stuff came up. And I just haven't been able to think of a good design cus of art block.
Re: Informal Duel - Baltorigamist vs. Kareshi
Are you forfeiting or are you still going to make something?
Re: Informal Duel - Baltorigamist vs. Kareshi
Well, ok. The design is still open for comments, if anyone's reading or looking.

Finally had time to design something, but you technically win.
