Does anyone here have tips on how to learn mixed pleating? I know there's a section concerning it in Andrey's book, but I can't read Russian.
I ask because I'm looking to start incorporating combs on some of my models, and the only easy way to do that seems to be via the use of MP. (I know there are easier ways to do it, but the designs I'm working on in particular don't really allow that.)
Any help will be appreciated.

oh yeah. I'm pretty sure it was a joke. Anyway, I hear that Andrey is pretty nice. Considering your talent, he'll probably recognize that you're no 10 year old noob asking for help. Maybe ask him to email you the section of the book that talks about that and try to translate it through google translate or something?

Good idea. I think I'll try that.
Sent him a PM. We'll see what reply I get.

This should at least get you started in the right direction:

(haven't checked the quality of the English myself)

Re: Mixed Pleating and/or Combs
Thanks, but it's honestly not much help without the book to accompany it.
I remembered seeing that before myself, but I forgot to mention it in the OP.
