I think that in a day or so they should be gone if you let it stay still. If you need to make TF right know use a paint roller to apply it. Simply rolling the foil won't work because you'll have spots where there is less glue where the bubbles were.

Can you get spray adhesive where you are? In the states is available at most hardwaare stores and even like Wal-marts and what not. Not sure about the rest of the world though.

Re: what glue should I use?
i found some original tissue paper. Its totally different than what i was thinking
its ultra thin and ultra weak! It rips of very easily
can someone please tell me whether it would work?

Re: what glue should I use?
Sounds exactly like the tissue paper I have. Now take two sheets, glue them together with Methylcellulose and you will have one of the best papers for Origami imaginable

Re: what glue should I use?
it means that double tissue i would make would become weak? I tried glueing one stale tissue paper to foil but it wasn't as strong as i was thinking
:s

Re: what glue should I use?
No, double tissue is a very strong paper. The MC magically transforms the weak tissue paper into something awesome. One sheet of tissue paper alone is weak, hard to fold, soft and overall doesn't have many qualities that we search for in Origami. Two sheets of tissue paper glued together with MC are exactly what we want for Origami, a thin, crisp and strong paper, that holds creases perfectly.

I agree 100 percent! I'm starting to get the hang of making it hahaorigami_8 wrote:No, double tissue is a very strong paper. The MC magically transforms the weak tissue paper into something awesome. Re: what glue should I use?
hey guys, is it better to use MC in place of PVA and wheat paste? i just want to know that if i use PVA, will the paper be as strong ,crisp and thin as i want?
Re: what glue should I use?
In my experience, PVA makes the tissue quite translucent and also quite stiff so it can tear more easily, its harder to reverse crease, too, but they do show up nicely. However, wet shaping goes very well and it dries like concrete, great for thin appendages! With MC, the paper retains it's opacity and is easier to fold, plus it doesn't stick to your preparation surface (usually) so its easier to make. Both have strengths and weaknesses so I guess it depends on what your folding, sometimes I use both! Hope this helps.
By the way, I always lay the two sheets of tissue perpendicular to each other to increase the strength. Don't know if its necessary, but it works for me

Re: what glue should I use?
It depends if you want to make DT or TF. For TF you should use PVA because MC doesn't adhere well to foil. For DT it's better to use MC because it glues the sheets so well together that you have the feeling of folding one single sheet. If you use PVA it will still feel like two sheets glued together.
