Nice one!
I quickly had 2 ways of reading the face from the bottom picture:
1) The eyes are shown in the 3rd-from-the-top crimp, then there is a large nose with nostrils, then a mouth and the goatee;
2) Top part is a large hat/helmet/whatever, with the nose from 1) being a large forehead. The eyes are those nostrils from 1), the nose is the point between the eyes. Looks like an alien head of some sort or possibly a stereotyped beardy wizard face, pointing toward the front.
