What's the Biggest Origami You've Folded?
Hey guys,
Just wondering what is the biggest thing you've folded? Biggest paper, longest, tallest, whatever. Just say what it is and if you can, post a picture. The biggest thing I made was a crane 3 times the size of one folded out of an 8.5 inch square. Hope I put this in the right section.

Re: What's the Biggest Origami You've Folded?
I've already shown my biggest and smallest in the forum... what the heck, I love showing my models .
This are my two biggest models.
Fire place bellows:
From 170 X 68 cm poster board and kraft rectangle, that is around 5' 8'' X 2' 3''.
Resulting in a 34 X 21 cm approx. model, that is around 1' 1'' X 8 1/4''.
Grabber:
From a 200 X 35 cm poster board rectangle,that is around 6' 8'' X 1' 2''.
Resulting in a 70 X 9 cm approx. model, that is around 2' 4'' X 3 1/2''.
Here I compare them to an official size basketball.
Like some of you know, the diagrams for both will be available in the book Practigami, which will come out soon .
This is my smallest living room:
And my smallest useful design is my Chopstick rest:
From a 2.5 X 5 cm portion of the chopstick wrapper, that is 1 X 2 in.
Resulting in a 1.5 X 2.5 cm model, that is 3/5 X 1 in.
You can use the chopsticks as size reference:

Honestly I haven't experimented that much in big origami. I've made some different flashers out of 18 in squares.
Be who you are, do things because you want to do them, and stop caring what others think. Then you'll be happy.
