Hello everybody!
My name is Gabriel, I am from Switzerland. I found this forum searching for a good way to draw origami diagrams. I think, I started folding at an age of approx. 7 with designs by Robert Harbin. One day, my brother got Robert J. Lang's "Origami Insects and their kin", and we learned to fold more difficult things. I also tried to design some simple things by trial and error. Last year, at an age of 17, I've read "Origami design secrets" (second edition) by Robert J. Lang. Since then, I am able to design more complex things and to interpret at least intermediate creasepattern.

Hi everybody, my name is Jordan and I live in the USA. I first started origami at age 8 with a simple origami swan. I became interested in this art form and now can fold more advanced models.

Re: Introductions
Hello everyone Across the Pound! My names Daja and I'm from Arizona. I mainly do origami during work in between calls but I'm always looking for new challenges.
I started for a school project but when my grandmother got sick with cancer I tried to make her 1000 prettier cranes so that's how I became addicted.
I'm hoping to to gleam wisdom and opinions from you all and maybe give done advice of my own.
Hopefully I'll be charting with you all soon!

Re: Introductions
Hi! My name is Sandra and I've been doing origami for a long time (probably close to 20 years). I love everything from very simple, elegant models to complex ones, not forgetting modulars.
In science as in origami, make sure your papers are good.

Re: Introductions
Hi I'm Domenic. I'm 16 and I started folding when I was 6 and got a christmas origami set. I took a pretty long break after that until 6th and 7th grade when I began learning more simple and intermediate flower models. After that I took another long break until Sophomore year when I began learning advanced origami models after discovering Kamiya's Ryujin 3.5 online. I'm now looking forward to learning how to design my own models.
Some of my favorite artists include Robert Lang, Satoshi Kamiya, Takashi Hojyo, Michael LaFosse, and Kade Chan. Models I've folded include Voyer's Wasp, Kamiya's Wizard, Lyrebird, and Pegasus, and Kade Chan's Gryphon.
