Re: ORIPA
Oripa Finally works for me!!!! Yoo-hoo!! But when I save the CP, or the folded form, the folded from comes in blue instead of the pale-ish orange color. And the CP has dashed red mountain lines instead of thin blue and red lines. How do I fix that?

Re: ORIPA
because the version of oripa is older. Download the latest version from Jun Mitani's website.

Re: ORIPA
This is where the "measure" tool comes in very handy. For that reference you need to find the angle at which the creases that come from the sides that connect with the opposite side are. To make this clearer consider the bottom edge. You need to make creases from the center of the sides that are connected with the horizontal edge at the top. For the angle you copy the angle from said edges (the sides that are connected with the horizontal edge at the top).Swapnil Das wrote:Hey, guys. So, I'm trying to draw Djordje's Sierpinski Gasket L3 cp and I can't make the "border" line that goes around the hexagon.
I can't find reference for it. ANy help? How do I find references like this in Oripa?
To find the angle you use the measure angle tool and you click on the 3 points that make that angle. Then with the measure of that angle, you make creases starting at the center of the mentioned sides. How long these creases you jight ask. Just make them long enough as to intersect the bottom edge and then delete the extra lines.
It seems difficult to explain but it is not that difficult to make. Just experiment with the measure tool a bit.

Re: ORIPA
Can't really get it, unfortunately. One thing you could do is record a video of this explanation while showing how to do it in oripa. Use Screencast-o-matic from here: http://download.cnet.com/Screencast-O-M ... tag=button
