I love it, it has this geometric-traditional origami feeling and -at the same time- it doesn't seem as simple as traditional origami. Know what I mean?FlareglooM wrote:Flying Fish (2014) by FlareglooM, on Flickr
Folded and designed by me.
The flying fish has been folded from a 35x35 cm piece of paper. It has a length of about 15 cm and a maximum width of 20 cm.
The technique that has been used is 22.5 degree with book symmetry.

Love that Butterflyfish!
A little Owl from an isosceles right triangle

I had a different face in mind, but the paper was too small to get it. Some inspiration from Beth Johnson's Owl for the bottom bit.

So I am the proud owner of a second-hand segway - there is a story attached (go to the blog if you are interested)
I decided I needed to design a Segway

Quite pleased with the result
