I have been trying to do a descent model but the locking is still giving me trouble. I realize I am doing it differently than as it is shown on Anna's picture but i can't figure out how she did it. Anna hints please!

Here is the one I folded. I used a different, more elegant, but not so efficient, way to close it.

I use the diamond as vase for paper flowers:

That locking mechanism is awesome, dry tension at its finest. It was eluding me but with the video it is clear now. Thanks a lot Anna for this great model.

You know what this model looks like the most when place with the flat side at the bottom? An artichoque

Wow... the video is awesome. I'm not kidding, that video is great. Now I might even try the model, something I wouldn't even go out of my way to do, because now I know how to do it. Thanks!
P.S. How do you make the branch for the Kawasaki Rose?

Yes it is a Kawasaki-Rose. The stem instructions can be found here: http://www.ganymeta.org/~darren/images/origami/diagrams/rose_stem.png
