Just doodling. Originally, I wanted a lock, but the thing kinda morphed into a lighter....the flame needs to be a little bigger...

By the way, it looks like Shadowsong painted the model to look like that. (look closely at the tail. the seam is on the top, as in the original model, if it were colour changed, the seam would be on the bottom and thefore invisible.) But very nice work regardless!

On the original model, the horn is fully color changed.
The mane is partially color changed.

The tail and the hoof hairs (heheh... I dunno what you call those things) aren't. The tail seems workable though...

Actually.. even if you don't have a color changed tail and hoof hair, it will still look very nice!

All those things on the unicorn can be easily color-changed. And about the seam on the tail: there are a number of layers. If you wrap only the outside layers around for a color change, there will still be a seam.

No no, this model I painted it. I saw the last finish unicorn of Kamiya, and looked like it's in sick - -, then I just follow the basic structure, those last steps I do it myself (and when I saw a picture of a Nightmare in Hero game, I try to paint). I want to say that, I fold those models as types as I like (I will not follow the instruction to the last)
For examble: This Hermit Crab (Brian Chan), I fill a little paper at the eyes. I don't care if someone say that what I have done is not Origami. I do it just because I think it look better at least with me and with this model (that I fold)

Back to the Nightmare :D sorry: May be that model can be real colour change. Unfortunately I fold this model with 1 colour paper so I didn't recognize that - -, and with a promise I will not fold any unicorn => I have no chance to try the colour change.
Burning with revenger, I will return!

After a long origami break, I finally got around paper again but this time I revised some of the models I have already folded most of them are Dr. Robert Lang models. I believe they do justice now.

T-Rex Skeleton by Robert Lang

From a 35 cm square of commercial origami paper.

A very fun fold. 8 teeth, 2 fingers on each hand, 3 (but I added a 4th) toes on each foot, 6 ribs, pelvic bones...

My apologies for being crude, but from that camera angle, your dinosaur rather resembles a skinny T Rex with a boner.
I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

I can't remember... I found the diagrams online a couple of days ago and saved them to my computer... now I can't remember where to find them... I'm pretty sure that the site says the authors name :?
