Thanks. I the paper I used to fold the demon was called Thai Handmade Traditional. I think it's a mulberry paper.

Wolf gave me the idea to design a motorboat so here it comes folded from 15cm x 15cm of Japanese foil :)

It is a variation of this traditional boat design you probably all know. I've added a graft on two sides to give me enough paper for the bench and the motor.

The motor turned out a bit big (and would need some more shaping), but more power is better, right?
As a plus, you can turn the motor as you would do for steering and also move the rotor out of the "water".
So long and keep folding ^_^

"Foca sombre el hielo" by Sergio González (double sided mc treated tissue paper) and "Gato" by Román Díaz (duo kraftpaper).

Image

"Spring into Action" by Jeff Beynon (tracing paper)

Image
Unfortunately the tracing paper is too weak so that the spring mechanism doesn´t work properly and the paper gets pinched together instead.

Snail by Meguro Toshiyuki from 22cm x 22cm of Duo-Kraftpaper

That's a really amazing model, so if you have the Tanteidan Convention Book 12 at hand give it a try. It's much easier than it looks at first :)

Christmas is coming! So, of course, it's time for many to fold in the spirit of the season :D

On a side note, don't go too far with the decorations and everything  ...

Anyway, I folded some things for Christmas
To start off, I made Joseph Wu's Eastern Dragon... which doesn't really have anything to do with Christmas...
Image

And I made a FIT by Thomas Hull for a friend
Image

I also made my own Christmas tree ornament, another FIT
Image

And, I made a "Christmas Eastern Dragon"
Image
My mother wanted a reindeer, so I said "How about a Christmas Eastern Dragon?". She still wants a reindeer, but she still liked this

I leave off by saying that all I want for Christmas is Works of Satoshi Kamiya, which I know I won't get, seeing as I haven't even ordered it yet :(

The Christmas Origamibook came today, so I had to put it to good use...

To start off, I folded A. S. Seyffert's "A Spiral's Flamboyant Shell"
Image

I also folded Robert J. Lang's Shiva...
Image

... and Gabriel Alvarez's Pegasus
