Following Daydreamers tip I folded the Snail by Meguro Toshiyuki. It´s really a fascinating model, so lifelike and with a funny folding sequence. Done with 22cm tissue foil:

Bee by Marc Kirschenbaum from a 15 cm square of Japanese foil

A very nice model which (except for the few steps that make your paper tear and crumble) is actually quite easy to fold.

Simple Boar folded after CP by Hideo Komatsu from an 18 cm square of Kami

That's probably one of the easiest CPs that's been published on the Internet for a while, so give it a try :-)
So long and keep folding ^_^

I just finished watching 20000 Leagues Under The Sea.
I then got inspired, grabbed a sheet of heavy red paper, then folded Peter Engel's Squid :

Umm, I don't think it is... I have only ever managed to fold one CP so far, Go Guspaths lion, mainly because it is so simple. And I didn't even get it all right!
Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go cry in a corner because of my lack of CP-folding.

I suppose you've all been wondering what I've been doing the past months, or at least that's what I'd like to think.
Here's what I've devoted the last couple weeks to:
(this is only the first draft. I'm in the process of folding a better one and maybe soon I'll get some good paper to work from)

MILLIPEDE (Narceus americanus):

it has 208 appendages, so it's kind of a pain to fold

files are kinda big, so links to some more:

here's the semi-finished crease pattern:
(it's not correct, but you can see the general idea (it's mostly 75ths with some 150ths))

well...I really hope you're all impressed by it because I tried really hard to one-up brian chan

Hey everyone, it's me Tjips! (aka A. S. Seyffert) I've been really busy seeing as it's holiday and all (Merry xmas and all that jazz to everyone!) The xmas book was a screaming success, thanx Anna.

Nice first try on the Spiral's Flamboyant shell, but I've got some bad news. It's upside down! Take another look at the photo in the book. It should lay more naturally that way.

I love the snail, and the lunoid's cool (I can't find the CP :( ). Good job on the worm!

P.S. Still working on the Rubik's cube.

I don't think it's upside down, but rather backwards

Do you recognize this swan?

Phil: Where your avatar is diagrammed? And whose that model is? I guess it's Anubis

Coyote by Roman Diaz from an 18 cm square of MC treated mulberry paper.

This model gives a really cool shadow :-)

Tancho Zuru by Roman Diaz folded after CP from a 15 cm square of Japanese foil.

This CP is actually quite easy to fold. I need to try again with more suitable paper though, that was just a first attempt.
So long and keep folding ^_^

Indeed. I opened a thread once about posting nice shadows of models but it did not receive much attention
