And yet another One Piece design.
God Enel folded from a 48cm square of Japanese foil.

CP and explanations can be found on my new blog :-)

I tried my hand at Elias' Goat:

Something about this model reminded me of the shadows from Babylon 5. I think it was the stance. So I decided to fold a modified version:

For those who aren't familiar with the shadows:

I can accept racism (which I don't really believe this is), or more appropriately group elitism. I can accept not wanting to share origami pieces or instructions. I can accept only sharing origami pieces or instructions with a certain group of people. I cannot accept putting instructions in a highly visited online photo gallery that is open to the public, and after discovering that an Englishman (Which I am ABSOLUTELY NOT) folded it, going off. First of all, I'm not a Brit, I'm American. Second, where was there any indication on those photos that non-French were not meant to fold it? It's not like I distributed instructions for how to fold his snail or something, or even posted a picture of it. I folded something, that he himself had posted instructions for.

I was a longtime admirer of the origami of Eric Joisel. I visit(ed) his gallery (on the French forum, via Nicolas Terry's site) every once in a while. The other day I visited it and saw the cat instructions. I thought it looked pretty nice, so I folded it. Since I was in one of my very rare picture-posting moods I posted it, and look at all the flak that came about.

I understand not wanting to give everything away for free. I choose specifically what origami works of mine make it onto the internet. If I don't want anyone to see something, I don't show it. If I only want a select group of people to see it, I make sure to limit it to them (if they pass it on I have no control), and sometimes, if I'm in a really good mood, I might even let the whole world see.

I don't post on other forums (Spanish, Brazil, Vietnamese, etc.) because I only speak English. It would be very rude for me to speak English in a French or Vietnamese place, so I don't.

Thanks for the support.

And to all who asked, I did not save the instructions, sorry. Besides, I would feel bad distributing them, since he removed them, despite his uncalled-for attack.

Another try at the shadow. I bought some black paper in the scrapbooking section of Wal-Mart, but it was almost as thick as cardstock. I tried it anyway:

I saved the diagrams, but I would never post them. As much as he did write his message in the wrong words, I respect his decisions, even if they were a bit late to be posted.

Daydreamer, that looks a lot like HOJYO Takashi's Thunder God

I absolutely agree with you. It is right respect any decision and it is not important who is that man - world famous creator with many models (or anything else) or unknown nobody with just something.

Phoenix, by me. Though the flap distribution and stuff isn't all that original, I wasn't on purpose folding another folders model or following a CP or diagrams or anything.

Image

Obelisk, by me too. I saw this while folding the Phoenix, and got another piece of paper and folded it.

Roman Diaz Horse

Post by himanshu »

I folded Roman Diaz's Horse. Last time I had dry-folded this model a couple of years back. It was an amazing experience to wetfold it this time.

For comparison, here is the previous version:
