I think Malachus' question was a bit different. :)

It's more like, how did the lokta paper behave when you folded this model. Can it hold sharp creases and stay upright, or does it feel very soft and unstable?

From my experience, lokta tends to end up soft around the creases, but applying some MC or PVAL stiffens it up rather well.

Well, it seems I misunderstood the question...
The Lokta felt very soft and comfortable when beeing folded and I surely wouldn´t recomend it for other modular models that aren´t locked together that strong like Dave Brill´s True Woven Dodecahedron. You can play soccer with this ball and it won´t fall apart, a really clever design.

I skipped some of the simpler models, I will be folding them later. However, I managed to fold KAMIYA Satoshi's Unicorn!

I used a 35cm square of red paper-backed foil (which was actually meant for wrapping presents, but it works with folding too!)

sirgo's lobster is an awesome model, but i tried to use copy paper for it and it ended up looking a bit shapeless. i definitely need to retry it with larger/thinner paper.
