here's a cube I made out of four intersecting boxes. The instructions for the box are here http://www.freewebs.com/worldoforigami/ ... onstar.htm
then the four boxes were slotted together and it made a cube :)

here's my new design, 'Butterfly 4' made from a rectangle of dimensions about 1:1.16
It does have legs but they're hidden

kind regards

An improved Praying Mantis. Does anyone know the author's full name, or should a just keep calling Kotoki?

I couldn't find anything at all about their name...

But their folding style seems a lot like HORIGUCHI Naoto's

Cupcake, you were supposed to look at the origami figure at that link.

And then look at it, and realize that it looks an awful lot like
KAMIYA RYO'S HOUSEMAID
On second thought, this page from the blog says it might be otherwise:

Yeah, I noticed that [the housemaids were similar]. I also noticed how some of his other folds looked like the HORIGUCHI Naoto's Sadako

Scops Owl by Tsuda Yoshio from a 15 cm square of Japanese foil

ImageImage

Once in a while you come across a model that makes you think "Wow, that's amazing!".
This Owl is definitely one of those models. So if you have Tanteidan Magazine 98, give it a try!

Btw, it can be used as finger puppet as well :D
So long and keep folding ^_^
