a journey of 1000 miles begin with just one step.

3 a day and you'll have 1000 in a year no problem.

i just started another 1000 for someone with notes written on each, after a marathon folding session i'm 600 in and running out of things to write.
reality continues to ruin my life

What sort of things are you writing on them?

I tried folding 1000 cranes and stringing them but I got so tired after 200...

I have folded a Montroll deer... really like that model, it's pretty easy to fold and always looks very nice :)

I like this model a lot, it looks really neat when it's the size of a kitten

I've only folded a few cranes so far and wanted to know if there were any rules on all the cranes being the same size?

eh..... not that I know of... Good luck though, I'm still stuck at 700... :(

Well, for now, here's the incomplete folding diagram of my Paper This Walls but looking at the first image should make it pretty simple (drawing them is too time consuming at the moment). I would say it's fairly self explanitory.

And heres my fourth(?) Bahamut, made out of some kind of wrapping paper I bought at the dollar store. Yea, I'm cheap. I'm thinking of spray-adhesive-ing some aluminum foil on the back to give it some hold, so has anyone already tried that? I'd try harder to shape it if it didn't have so much spring...

Convergent evolution? They look the same but barnacles are crustaceans while limpets are mollusks... strange...

Here are a bunch of Hideo Komatsu models I folded with better paper (except for the mouse and sumo wrestlers which are new and the sheep which I folded without having to print the crease pattern - very exciting) :
