In some ways, folding with unattractive paper does have a certain amount of charm. It's like saying, "I can turn this boring white copy paper into a Praying Mantis!"

Cupcake: Now at 5.42 posts a day.
as said before, there's a big difference between quality and quantity
It's like saying, "I can turn this boring white copy paper into a Praying Mantis!"
or "I can turn this boring white copy paper into a boring white praying mantis".

look, I wrote before, that I think that Cuppy is a pretty good folder. but I somehow get bored with seeing those white models. it's even worse, because Cupcake often posts two pictures of the same boring white model.

Aww poor Cupcake, but I must agree with them. I get the same feeling even when I look at some of Anermak's white models, though they are folded very impressively. At least now that the issue has been discussed, and problem can easily be solved with some color-changed, thinner paper, we SHOULD see some improvements :D .

You might not see improvements in my gallery, but I will be sure to keep the copy paper models away from this topic :D (for as long as I can, which will be a long time, I hope)

Nice one Cupcake! The better paper you used really shows your true skillz, and the finished model is so much nicer! Hope to see more of your stuff folded in this paper!
:D

If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

Actually Rdude, in case you didn't notice it, that space shuttle is from copy paper as well. Cupcake just inked the model instead of coloring it. See, copy paper is not THAT bad ... (Alright, it's from kami paper, but it would've been very funy if it was made from copy paper. Oh and Cupcake, if you wish to continue folding with copy paper, I don't mind, but try lined paper instead as it's the exact same format, but less thicker.)

Finally a not-crappy background. That also helps.
