OK. So after I got done with the lion I posted 2 posts above I figured I'd give a difficult one a try. So I had bought this book by Robert Lang. On the cover is a Lion. He used a 16" square and all I had was 8.5x11 lazer paper which I cut to 8.5x8.5. I think I may have to try this again with larger paper. The front legs didn't work out and I forced it. If someone knows that step I could sure use some help with it. I'm really just so new to this difficult level. Many steps I had never seen before and it took me about 1 and 3/4 hours to finish it.

Another moduler, out of six inch

A small pile of little cranes, folded out of one inch wrapping foil

Eleven diamonds - Kenneth M. Kawamura

Little kawasaki Rose and little cranes
One inch foil for the rose. The cranes were folded out of foil and tissue, sizes were in the millimeters

awesome stuff everyone! i haven't posted lately either (absolutely inundated with work and commitments) but folded this 5-piece spiral as a break from calculus:

then i realised that in a way, an expression for the volume of the model was sort of like a geometric series, with a sum to infinity. so i guess it wasn't much of a break from maths
model is from "spiral unit folding" or something by tomoko fuse. an awesome book, pick up a copy if you can..
