Thanks Cupcake and Jared. I'm using an HP model, and I dislike HP. I got it for christmas two years ago, the photos are actually taken with the camera on a tripod. I was going to ask around at the con to see if someone would be kind enough to take some for me, I might should take that monday class on photographing origami.
As to be not too off topic, here is my model undergoing its first MC finishing. Its too thick for backcoated mulberry, so I used a single sheet. The lower hind leg and stand are used to pose the finished model.
Thanks Jared. I was considering a mongoose with a cobra in its mouth, but I like this stylized symbol of eternal struggle (a.k.a. I'm lazy, but it works ;p). Last picture folks, I promise. I think it came out rather nice for once.

i like it dreamer pal. so these are two tissue wraps laminated. doesnt the glue penetrate to the layers because its very thin? or do you use methyl cellulose in the process and leave it to dry. very impressive result

I put the two tissue papers over each other on a glass plate. Then apply methyl cellulosis (wallpaper glue) on top and it soaks through binding the two papers together and enhancing folding qualities at the same time.

it could stand for some better paper.
thanks for trying out the model. i really like the duo colours youve used. i would say your normal origami paper should do fine, but for larger models try medium weight paper. canson vivaldi should be fine, and laminate another layer with an alternating colour of tissue or paint it
