I really like the sitting deer, it's a very clever design.

Unsure if this counts for the monthly folding challenge, therefore I post it here:

Origami_8 - Sure, I'd call it appropriate. I've come across owl headed folk in some of the various fantasy junk I've read. The names 'Affian' and 'Herrou' spring to mind, although google doesn't confirm either.

Failing that, Owlman is the 'Batman' counterpart from the Earth-3 (pre crisis) or the Anti-Matter universe (post-crisis) version of the Crime Syndicate of Amerika.

Do I get extra 'Nerd points' for this post?
I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

Haha, well you've lost me, so *here*, have some points.

I was thinking they were like the owl guys from Final Fantasy XII or like the Owlbears in Warcraft III. But anyway Origami_8, it looks fantastic.
Get it? I think I just lost some points.

Alright, it's been a while since I've posted something up, but that's just because I'm horrible at taking pictures with a horrible camera. But here's a decent shot of Issei Yoshino's Horse, out of 42x42 tissue foil:

I don't know what it is with this model, but I just didn't think it was that fun to fold. It's a great model... :-k but something was missing in the process of making it. :?

My family is having an open house at the end of this month, where my dad is displaying his bonsai, mom with her pottery, brother with his digital and natural media paintings, and me with origami. I've got to make my display bigger, so this and a few others should help. I'll post some pictures when that time passes.
