That´s Chuka Ryu by Hoang Trung Thanh and not Ryu Jin by Satoshi Kamiya.

If that's the case, then you need glasses.

I folded the Chuka Ryu three weeks ago..
The diagram is pretty unclear. And I didn't use plain white paper.
My Chuka Ryu looks nothing like the original one, but at least i folded the head right (hopefuly) :P

I know...
It was past midnight when I folded the model.
The body pleats on my Chuka Ryu is too big, that's why it's so short. I should try to fix it and make it look like the original one.

well.. maybe it's because i was trying to fold the Chuka Ryu, not the Ryu Jin.. lol.
I think u should use tissue foil for the model.

I'm thinking about trying this one, what size of paper did you use for the body and legs? It looks like it says on the first page of the diagram, but I can't read the numbers, and since I can't read Vietnamese, I don't even know if those are the right numbers.

It says that the head-body-tail is made from a 21.4x450 rectangle. Also you need 4 squares of 3/4 that width (3/4 of 21.4) for the legs.
