if you just skip step 36, you'll get a fat rat, which looks really cute :)

(I also gave the rat a colour-changed tail)

thanks :)
you surely take too thick paper. what kind of paper do you take? you could just try to take a bigger square of the same paper to fix that.

Hey, I like the fat rat! Especially the way the belly recedes the position of his front legs. Perhaps round the belly bit more though, cause it looks like he swallowed a block of cheese whole.

On the paper. I made one from a square about one quarter A4 size kraft paper and the nose gave me problems. It always works out the way, doesn't it?

Printer paper is generally pretty thick. At least use kami if you are trying to get it to look good.

you should fold it once more and keep a special eye onto the flaps (that you fold them into the right direction).

thanks christian! i have finaly finished the rat and mine looks a bit like trekkers.

i dont think i needed to keep a special eye out for the feet flaps. because you just stretch it to where it should be and the triangle willcome automaticly. i figured out i was sinking the wrong triange in that step too.

by the way i will be on vacation for a little while so wont be on my computer
