Still no progress getting the base.
This is what the author says about collapsing the CP: "You just begin from center then come to collapse the edge gradually"

I don't think he will make the diagram for this work. He said that the model is quite hard to fold, not easy and that box pleating thing take many time to diagramming.
BTW, as I known, Cuong was spend many time to design the wings, and I think the way to fold it will be the secret until someone find out the method.
@LeoMX: It has another method to divide the square edge to 5 parts. At the diagram of Violinist by Hojyo Takashi (box-pleating 40x40 too)
